ENABLE INPUTSTREAM CLIENT FOR RTMP STREAMS IN KODI KRYPTON
If you’ve recently installed the latest version of Kodi, you might have noticed that live streams aren’t functioning as well as in previous versions. This is because the official Kodi developers have for one reason or another decided to not enable RTMP streaming support by default. We’re not sure why, but we’re going to walk you through manually enabling the InputStream Client for RTMP Streams in Kodi.
RTMP is a live streaming support protocol that is used by many live TV streaming sources. If you’re looking to watch live TV or sports streams of any sort within Kodi, this is pretty much necessary in order to do so.
1.~ From the Kodi home screen click ADD-ONS>MY ADD-ONS
2.~ Scroll down and click VIDEOPLAYER InputStream
3.~ Click on the InputStream Adaptive>click Enable
4.~ Go back one screen>click RTMP Input>click Enable
5.~ That`s it return to the Kodi home screen
